Questions about cold rooms & freezer rooms
Why is there ice on my freezer room floor or ceiling?
Usually it's warm, moist air getting in through a damaged door seal, a faulty heater wire or the door being left open. It can also be a defrost or drain fault. We'll find the cause.
My cold room won't hold temperature. What should I check?
Make sure the door closes and seals properly, and that the evaporator isn't iced up or blocked. If it's still warm, call us before stock is at risk.
Can you replace just the refrigeration on an old cold room?
Yes. Often the panels are fine and only the refrigeration system needs replacing.
Do you fit temperature alarms?
Yes. An alarm that tells you early can save a whole room of stock.
