The challenge
A regular customer's open-deck display cabinets, and the condensing unit running them, were costly to run.
What we did
- Removed the old open-deck cabinets and condensing unit
- Installed new glass-door display cabinets
- Matched them to a smaller Danfoss inverter-drive condensing unit
- Commissioned and tested the system
The result
The doors keep the cold where it should be, in the fridge, and the inverter-drive condensing unit is smaller. Together they give the customer a considerable saving on running costs compared with the open cabinets.
